This gorgeous bottle of extra virgin olive oil by 1490 is a work of art - literally. Famed artist Lola López paints beautiful impressions of the Andalucian countryside that she loves in the Naïve art style. The elegant bottle features one of her paintings, and is filled with bright, fruity Picual extra virgin olive oil with a silky texture and a nice spicy finish. What a beautiful gift for the olive oil aficionado!

But there’s more to this oil than just its taste. It hails from the Fuente de la Rosa estate, which, according to legend, provided olive oil for the Niña, Pinta and Santa María in 1492. The family recently discovered a 500-year-old document in their archives, dating back to 1490, the year they purchased the estate. Another document reveals that olive oil from this very estate was used on Christopher Columbus’s first voyage in 1492.

This limited edition bottle is hand numbered and makes a beautiful gift and collector's item. The porcelain bottle is reusable and is a beautiful addition to any kitchen.

Owner Jose Miguel Sánchez de Puerta calls this, "The most beautiful bottle we've ever made."
