One of our favorite traditions in Spain is visiting the local market and enjoying hot, freshly cooked churros and a large cup of thick chocolate to dip them in. Deliciously crunchy with a light interior, this is one of Spain’s iconic snacks. Now you can enjoy churros at home after just a few minutes in the toaster.
Our supplier in Valencia cooks the churros to golden perfection in a traditional kettle, then flash freezes them. Just store them in the freezer, then take out a few and pop them in the toaster as you hanker for them.
Churros are usually served hot just as they are, ready to be dipped into Spain’s classic thick chocolate called ‘chocolate a la taza.’ If you like you can sprinkle them with sugar or cinnamon.
Peregrino churros are all natural and made with olive oil.
